Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Prior Authorization Specialist with Specialty Endocrinology experience to join our growing healthcare team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance authorization processes and the ability to manage prior authorization requests efficiently while supporting healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process prior authorization requests for endocrinology services and medications.
• Verify insurance requirements and submit authorization requests accurately.
• Follow up with insurance companies regarding pending and denied authorizations.
• Work with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance plans.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and insurance representatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation of authorization status and communication.
• Identify authorization issues and assist with resolution to avoid delays in patient care.
• Utilize payer portals and authorization platforms for efficient workflow management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Prior Authorization Specialist.
• Mandatory experience in Specialty Endocrinology.
• Strong understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance plans.
• Experience handling specialty medication and treatment authorizations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CoverMyMeds, Availity, and major PBM portals.
• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes.
• Experience working with US healthcare providers and insurance workflows.
